Gerry Price Message from Honourary Chairperson, Gerry Price>> Relentless innovation has been the key to Price Group's growth, prior to the 2008 recession and after, driving growth even as the recession deepened. Although the non-residential construction market that Price serves has declined by 63% since 2008 and now is at a 60-year low, Price Group has managed to grow their business throughout the recession. In his presentation, Gerry Price will describe the innovation strategies that have resulted in growth in the Price Group through both good times and bad. Gerry joined E. H. Price Limited in 1977 and became President in 1986. Today, Gerry is Chairman and CEO of Price Industries Limited (Canada) and several other companies in the Price Group. During his tenure he has launched many new product lines, factory expansions and new business units. |

Norman Bodek Watch Norman Bodek video >> Norman Bodek is President of PCS Inc. and widely acclaimed author, started Productivity Press in 1979 by publishing a newsletter called PRODUCTIVITY. In the last 28 years, he has gone to Japan 78 times, visited close to 300 plants and published more than 100 Japanese management books in English. Norman Bodek founded the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence at Utah State University with Dr. Vern Buehler and is one of the few individuals to be awarded the Shingo Prize. In his presentation, Norman will challenge you to go beyond simply applying LEAN tools and attack the eighth waste of "underutilization of people's talent" to create a culture of enterprise-wide excellence. |

Paul started his career at StandardAero, was appointed Canadian President in 2001, COO in 2006 and President & CEO in 2007. In 2009, he joined New Flyer Industries as President & CEO. Paul is a recipient of ‘Canada's Top 40 under 40' award. In his presentation, Paul will highlight New Flyer, North America's largest bus manufacturer, and outline the various initiatives to teach, communicate and engage employees in embracing change and adopting a culture of enterprise-wide continuous improvement. |
