The fashion for agile management is spreading

Our 2018 Canadian LEAN Conference speaker Mike Rother forwarded a recent article to us that you might find useful. The article is on the topic of practicing the Improvement Kata & Coaching Kata to help develop scientific-thinking Agile skill and mindset. Many articles try to describe what is Agile, but this one focuses on how to develop Agile abilities.

The article discusses a topic area – Agile – that reaches beyond the traditional Lean crowd to a growing, young audience. It is an evolution of Lean that could well be where things are heading, and as such it's a potential expansion of audience for CME. These days, for instance, every manufacturing company has software people on board. And, as you know, digitalization in manufacturing is also a big topic.
