Developed for Manitoba businesses and designed by CME in partnership with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT). This workshop reviews the benefits and common pitfalls of expanding into new markets and outlines the financial resources available to exporters. Learning is facilitated through a combination of theoretical content, practical examples, and roundtable discussions of best practices with professionals and business owners just like you.
Certification - Participants will earn a certificate of completion issued by both CME and FITT.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the workshop, participants will understand the challenges and opportunities in pursuing International business and have the tools to make crucial exporting decisions. Participants will have knowledge on the complexity and sources of international trade financing and how best to approach and secure it.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Business owners, senior managers, business development and export managers, logistics, shipping and sales staff from exporting and non-exporting companies, and individuals considering a career path in international sales.
